Details:

Our guest speaker will be Tim Phelps, Executive Director of the Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC).

For more than a decade, Tim has helped shape how Chester County moves and now he’s bringing that conversation to the Paoli business community. Please join us for a timely discussion on what he calls “the business of transportation”, a conversation grounded in real roads, real commutes, and real choices.

Known to many simply as “TMACC Tim,” Phelps has spent 14 years at the helm of the region’s transportation demand management organization, following earlier leadership roles with several Chambers of Commerce, including the Main Line Chamber. His connection to Paoli runs deeper than a speaking engagement. He’s a regular traveler along Lancaster Avenue, a user of local businesses, and counts Paoli station as his Amtrak stop of choice, a reminder that the region’s transportation story is personal as much as it is policy.

During the program, Phelps will explore how walkability, biking, public transit, and even single-occupancy vehicles intersect with economic vitality and quality of life, from policy and perception to projects. TMACC, a 501(c)(4) membership-based organization, works alongside businesses and municipalities to expand mobility options that keep communities connected and competitive.

The conversation promises to be less about traffic counts and more about people, how they live, work, and move through places like Paoli every day.
